Poem: Not About Sunshine and Flowers

Not About Sunshine and Flowers

“Write a poem” my hubby said,
“Why are all your poem’s sad?”
He asked, and then said,
“Write a poem that’s happy.”

“I’ll write a poem that’s happy,
A poem about sunshine and flowers,”
I told him, thinking that those,
Those are happy images.

“Don’t write about those,”
He told me, “Not about sunshine,
Not about flowers, not these,
That is not happiness.”

So I’ll write a poem that is happy,
But not about sunshine,
And not about flowers,
Definitely not these.

Sunshine makes me think,
Think of good times,
And warm feelings, but…
This is not about sunshine.

Flowers are symbols,
Symbols of love and joy,
And close relationships,
But this is not about flowers.

Happiness, this is about that,
Not about sunshine and flowers.

Happiness is about much more,
Happiness is waking up,
Curled up in warm blankets,
And knowing that the sun has risen.

Happiness is about many things,
The birds of the air and the bees,
The bees that buzz and fly,
And where they find their nectar.

Happiness is about the simple things,
So yes, happiness is about sunshine,
And happiness is about flowers too,
But this is not a poem about those.

Poem: Left Alone

Author's Note: This poem is not about me, or my relationship with anyone. I honestly don't know where this poem came from except I wrote the first two lines when I had a headache and I was hungry. The third line seemed to tack itself on, which confused me, and I stayed that way as the rest of the poem was written :P However, I do like the results!

Left Alone

My head pounds like drunken dwarves are mining inside,
My stomach has a hole a mile wide, and growing.
Why did you leave?

I am lost, trapped in a labyrinth of your own special design,
Confused as a squirrel on crack looking for its nuts,
Why did you leave?

We were lovers of life, chocolate, and each other,
We were irreparably connected in soul,
How did you leave?

We never dreamed of adventure except we’d face it together,
All demons vanquished by a team of two intertwined,
Where did you go?

We swam in the lake in the snow, warming each other later,
We swapped stories, recipes, and our gum,
Who am I alone?

Poem: I Am Not

 I Am Not
I am not my disease,
But my disease is in me.

I am not my disease,
It does not laugh, or cry,
Or tell cheesy jokes.

I am not my disease,
It does not make decisions,
It does not dream.

I am not my disease,
And yet…

I am not my disease,
But it does affect me.

I am not my disease,
But it makes me laugh, and cry
And I joke about it.

I am not my disease,
But it affects my decisions,
And how I live my dreams.

I am not my disease,
But my disease is in me.

Tales of the Elytheria - The Healing Field

Note: This story is just one story about a nomadic culture called "The Elytheria." I'm working on (among other things) a series of stories about them. These stories are not necessarily connected by anything other than than the culture, and I'm enjoying the freedom of that format! This is the first story I wrote, but at the moment I have two more in the works, and several hovering on the edges of my mind. Enjoy.

The Healing Field

She felt the power caress her skin like fine silk, heightening all her senses, and bringing with it a touch of euphoria. Bracing herself she pictured her goal as in her mind, focusing on getting each detail right, knowing that anything less than perfection would be letting her patient down. She couldn’t do that. Especially since it wasn’t just a simple patient, this was her lover.

But no. She mustn’t think of that, if she focused on anything other than the wound, than things could go awry.  That was one reason that most clans tried to keep two healers with them as they traveled. The battle had taken Jeri’s life though, and left her the only one who could deal with the aftermath.

It had been difficult, separating out the wounded and giving her attention first to those who needed her the most. Lianna and Richard had helped her. After all, it doesn’t take a healer to see that someone is bleeding out, and with three people working, they could more easily separate out who was dying and who could wait a few extra minutes.

If Lianna hadn’t had the gift of comfort though, their presence might not have been enough, and she might have rushed to Telger’s side immediately anyway. It’s hard to allow your lover to suffer, even knowing they’d be ok, while you treated other’s first.

Resolutely she shoved all those thoughts away. While Telger’s injuries were less severe than any others she’d treated so far, they still required a delicate hand, and she was getting tired. So, focusing with all her might, she placed her hand on his ribs, and began the work of stitching his ribs and flesh back together.

When she was done Miranda felt drained. The euphoria was gone and it left her feeling like an old woman. Looking up at Richard she asked, “How many more?”

“Two more,” he answered, with sympathy. “The rest will heal on their own. Lianna is bandaging the small injuries and double checking we didn’t miss anything. Here,” he said as he handed her a cup of Kaffa.

Miranda considered the steaming cup in his hands for a minute, blinking, before she took it. “Thanks, this will help.  I could really use a bite of food though if the next two can wait long enough.”

Richard grinned, “Here.”

Opening her eyes in hungry greed and wonder she asked as she took the offered bowl of stew, “How did you know?”

“I’ve been around long enough.”

Miranda considered Richard for a moment as she began to chew, “Someday you’ll have to tell me your story, something tells me this is not your first battle, or your first healing field.”  She watched carefully as his eyes clouded over, and he shrugged as casually as he could. Putting her hand on his arm she said, “But not tonight, and maybe not for some time, there are more important things today.” He nodded, returning to his normally taciturn self, and she knew it was going to be an interesting challenge getting his story out of him, but she had always known that. Now she just had a little bit more to work from.

As soon as she finished, Miranda went back to work and finished healing the last of the badly wounded. Then, unable to rest until she did so, she checked over the rest of the wounded, making sure once again that no one had been missed. Finally she let go of her power completely, and it felt like silk being slowly withdrawn from her skin. As soon as she had finished she fell into a deep sleep that carried her through the night without even a single dream.

The next morning she rose, stiff, but knowing that was the price to pay for her work of the night before. Walking out of her tent she climbed a nearby hill so she could look out over the battle field from yesterday.

They had been working their way through the Solsti Mountains when the attack came. Their attackers were too well armed to be simple bandits out for profit. Most of those were smart enough to avoid the Eletheria anyway. No, these looked like more of a small army. Which meant they’d been waiting for either the Eletheria themselves, or another target, and either of these options was bad.

Looking out she saw many things. The field was soaked with blood, but there were no bodies. If there was
one thing you could count on the Eletheria to be it was efficient. There was a fresh pile of dirt outside of the camp that told her that they had buried their dead attackers where their spirits would be trapped by the earth. A large burned circle in the center of camp told her that she had also missed the ceremonial burning of their own dead to release their spirits. She had expected that though, she just ached as she wondered who hadn’t made it. Who had been beyond the hope of healing from her touch.

Miranda also saw a series of tents pitched inside the circle of wagons. That was abnormal when there were no rains, but she knew that they had been put up to take care of the wounded. Those tents transformed the battle field into a healing field. What was originally a site of disaster; also had hope. Hope because, while many had died, many had also been saved who would have been lost without her touch. It filled her with a sense of satisfaction knowing she had been able to do good for her people.

She was also a little amazed and shocked by the fact that she had actually been able to do all that she’d done the night before. There was no way she should have been able to heal that much in one night, let alone going without a break until nearly the end. When Jeri died a little part of her had died, thinking of the people that she wouldn’t be able to save. She had set that aside though, focusing only on the work, and the people who Richard and Lianna had directed her too.

Drawing the silken sense of her healing abilities around her again, Miranda reached out to the field in front of her, searching for darkness that would tell her she was needed, and where. A smile crossed her face as she only felt small patches of grey. There were people in pain, but none in danger. It truly was a healing field in front of her.

The only question was how she’d done it.

Jumping Off of a Cliff

Jumping Off of a Cliff

Standing, teetering on the edge,
Gazing at the steep drop before me.

Deep breath in, preparing myself,
Pushing all questions and thoughts away.

I close my eyes, and with a rush of joy,
I commit myself to the plunge.

Without love, life is meaningless,
But love requires a leap of faith.

I know my lovers arms are waiting,
And I cast myself into the depths of love.

Personal Entry: Following a Dream

I've dreamed for a long time about making money off of my writing skills. Now, of course, the ideal would be to get a work of fiction published, but I'm more than happy to do other writing as well. I've been thinking about doing trying to pick up some freelance work for a couple of years now, but never really had the time or the health. Well, I'm finally getting through my migraines, so I can write again! I have a lot of fiction writing I want to do, but I also really want to pursue bringing in a few dollars to the household. To that end I've signed up for www.freelancer.com and I plan on pursuing opportunities on other web-sites as well. I'm taking it one step at a time so that I don't overwhelm myself (or overwork) and I'm excited about the journey!

One of the most exciting things is that I've already had two tentative nibbles on the bids I put in yesterday, and I only bid on six jobs! Nothing concrete yet, but just getting any response is encouraging.

Next I need to focus on making sure I have good examples of my writing prepared for potential employers. Well, that's at least on the list of things I need to work on in the near future. Pretty high as well.

Now to keep from splitting myself in to many directions...

Writing ADD #24

Well, I had a another week of fighting through migraines, and again I didn't meet all my goals, but I still got lots of done so I'm happy about that! I also got a lot more blogging done than I did the week before, so over all, it's a win! I seem to be doing a little bit better physically so far this week, but who knows what that will mean for my writing :P Here's the review:

Week's Total:
Book Reviews: 4
Movie Reviews: 3
Dalia's Story: In progress
Total Words: 3219

Goals:
~ Book Reviews
~ Dalia's Story
~ Finish "A Disturbing Group"
~ Write another "Striking Thoughts" piece.

As you can see, I only got my top two goals accomplished (and the others will be moved forward to this week), but I also wrote up a couple movie reviews that were unplanned. So I guess that balance things out a bit eh? I had a movie day with my brother and so I wrote up reviews on all three movies we watched. I haven't posted any of them yet but I should get at least one, maybe two, posted up this week.

I didn't get as much done on Dalia's Story as I would have liked, but I'm glad I at least got something done. I think this was just one of those weeks where doing original writing was a bit harder than doing things like reviews. So the result? 7 reviews of different kinds and only a few hundred words on my story. Oh well.

I won't bother to post this week's goals, because they are exactly the same as last weeks! Well, some of that's to be expected since they are things I try to get done every week, and the other's, well, if I didn't get them done this week they get to be moved forward!

Writing ADD #23

Well, I definitely didn't meet my goals from last week, but I'm trying to be positive about it. My goals were reasonable if I had a good week. I did not have a good week. Therefore I'm content with what I did accomplish and I'm moving the unaccomplished goals forward to this week!

Week's Total:
Book Reviews: 6
TV Review: 1
Movie Review: 1
Dalia's Story: In progress
Total Words: 3515

The one goal I did meet for last week was I managed to get 6 book reviews written! Woohoo! I still have a pile left, but hey, that's the way it tends to go around here. Especially when I've been living in migraine city and thus spending lots and lots of time reading.

TV Review and Movie Review: I haven't gotten either of these posted yet. I was a bad blogger last week. (I think I only posted one blog other than my Writing ADD post). I had planned on writing either of these last week, it just happened. So they kinda took place of what I was planning. Oopsie. Wait, is that really an oopsie? It's still writing after all!

Dalia's Story: I really need to get cracking and write more on this story or I'm going to miss the dead-line. BUT I didn't give myself a word goal for it last week so, since I did get some done on it, this is another goal achieved!

The two goals I didn't meet were to finish the "A Disturbing Group" piece and write another "Striking Thoughts" piece. So guess what's on my list for this week?

Goals:
~ Book Reviews
~ Dalia's Story
~ Finish "A Disturbing Group"
~ Write another "Striking Thoughts" piece.

Gee - this list looks rather familiar...

Writing ADD #22

I still had a bunch of migraines this week - but I got writing done anyway! yay! Not as much as I wanted, but writing was accomplished, so I'm super happy :) Here's the update:

Week's Total:
Book Reviews: 5
A Disturbing Group: In progress
Lost in a Migraine: Published
Total Words: 2622

Book Reviews: I still have a lot of book reviews to catch up on - but 5 is a start! I still have a full shelf on my little book case though >_> I need to take a picture of my book case one of these days so you guys know what I'm talking about.

"A Disturbing Group" is a from a picture prompt on the writer's web-site I recently joined. Right now BRS doesn't have a ton of activity, but I that's fine with me. Too much would overwhelm me :P When the stories done I'll post it on here as well.

"Lost in a Migraine" was inspired by - guess what??? my migraines! I had a horrible weekend because I was reacting to some chemicals, and I just had to write about it. I didn't know I was sitting down to write a poem, but that's what came out! Just click on the title to go check it out if you missed it.

Plans for this week:
~Finish "A Disturbing Group"
~Write a bunch of book reviews
~Work on Dalia's Story
~Write another "Striking thoughts" piece.

Now to see what actually happens! I'm off to work on Dalia's Story right now...

Writing ADD #21

Wouldn't it be fun to have a dragon cane? It sure beats the standard thing I have that I think we picked up for $10 somewhere... Oh yes, and the reason I'm picturing a cane this morning? I pulled a muscle in my foot this weekend so I'm using a cane right now. Joy.

Let's take a look at what I did last week:
Week's Total:
Book Reviews: 2
Dalia's Story: In progress
Weather Mage: In progress
Total Words 2897

It's rather strange that I only did two book reviews, and my stacked up pile isn't very happy with me, but I don't mind since it means I got lots done else where!

I made some good progress of Dalia's Story. It's for a writing challenge so I REALLY need to stay focused on it! Fortunately the words are flowing each time I sit down to work on it, so I'm not too worried (yet) about getting it done in time. I'm just over 4,000 words in that story, and it has to be 10,000 to 20,000 for the challenge, so I still have a ways to go! One of these days I'll have to figure out how it ends too... I won't be sharing this story until contest time because it's one of the rules.

I did some of my writing this weekend at the market. It was cloudy in the mornings so I could see my hubby's netbook despite it's glossy finish (argh) and I wrote while it was slow. It got really windy for awhile there and for some reason that gave me the idea to right a story about a Weather Mage who's power's tend to backfire :) Don't really have any plans beyond that for the story right now, but I don't really care. I write because it's fun you know?

Last week was pretty full of activities and this week looks a lot more open, so hopefully I'll get lots done, both writing, and on my business!

June was Bleak

I didn't get much writing done this month :( But the good news is that I seem to be getting better again, finally, and we think we have a good idea what's going on this time! I'll do more updating on that later :) Here's what did get published this last month:

Daily Life:

Writing:

Books:

Only 11 posts last month :( But I think I'm on the upswing and I'll get a bunch more done this next month - the last week is a good indicator that I will!

Striking Thoughts - Part 1

Did you know that Bruce Lee, the famous Gung Fu and Jeet Kune Do Master, was also a philosopher? I didn’t except in the most general sense. I know quite a bit about martial arts for someone who’s never practiced them (although I’ve always wanted to) and one thing I know is that most forms of martial arts have accompanying philosophies. Sometimes they can be vastly different, but some concepts, like Honor, tend to be a part of all of them. Knowing this, I could have easily guessed that Bruce Lee had been something of a philosopher, but what I didn’t know is that he actually studied as a Philosophy Major at the University of Washington (my home state!).

One thing that makes Bruce Lee’s view on philosophy different is that he studied many different cultures and their ways of thought. He sought to find the truth with an open mind, and as a result, his words are a conglomerate of concepts from all over the world, but I’ll get more into that later.

“Why,” you may ask, “are you sharing all this with us?” Well, like said, I’ve always had an interest in martial arts. I didn’t get involved in them when I was younger initially because of health problems, and then because I was too busy, and then the health problems got really bad again. However, my former roommate is a black belt, and she shared a lot of her knowledge (not fighting techniques, but the philosophy they were taught) with me. My youngest brother has also always been interested in martial arts (and knows some) and he’s taught me a few things about protecting myself. He’s also the one who was telling me about a book he had just read, “Striking Thoughts: Bruce Lee’s Wisdom for Daily Living.” It caught my interest, and next thing I knew I was borrowing it from him!

As I write this I’ve only read a small portion of the book so far. Two introductions that talked a lot about Bruce Lee’s life as both a martial artist and philosopher, and then a little bit of the first section, “Part One, On First Principles: Life.” I’ve studied some philosophy, theology, and comparative religions so I’m finding this fascinating. I’ve always loved examining different ways of thought, and as I’m reading it I find myself taking it bit by bit and processing it. My parents taught me at an early age to think through the meanings of things and not just to accept them at face value. So that’s why I’m doing with this book. I’m evaluating what he says against what I believe to be true, and I’m also simply absorbing information about other cultural points of view.

I’ll be writing more as I read more of this book. I’d like to share with you, my readers, some of my thoughts as I go through it. My plan is to share the occasional snippet of Bruce Lee’s philosophy, and then my thoughts and reflections on it. Hopefully this will give you things to think about as well!

Writing ADD #20

I've gotten an amazing amount of writing done this week! The only thing I can say is ... drugs can be good sometimes :P Seriously, I've been having to be drugged up almost constantly for my migraines, which I hate, but I've been able to think pretty clearly so I've gotten a lot done anyway!

Week's Total:
Book Reviews: 3
Striking Thoughts: In progress
Cooking Adventures: Posted
Letter's Home: Posted
Dalia's Story: In progress
Total Words: 4381

"Striking Thoughts" is a book about the philosophy of Bruce Lee. I'm writing some of my own thoughts and reactions in response to what I read. I have two posts worth written up right now and I plan on posting one a week from now until....whenever :P

Cooking Adventures and Letter's Home 4 are both posted so I won't talk about them here - just suggest you go read them if you haven't already! I also started a blog yesterday for Aria's Quest so that it'll all be in one place instead of spread out across this blog. So go check it out and if you missed the beginning now's your chance to start!

Dalia's Story is one that I've had floating around in my head for awhile now. I plan on doing a series of stories themed around the various elements and this one is based on the element of Water. It's going pretty good so far, although I think it's going to be too long to post on the blog. So I'll probably post a short "snapshot" of the story on here when ever it's done and then e-mail it out to people.

What's on the agenda for this week? More book reviews, movie and tv reviews, Striking Thoughts, more with Illia and with Dalia, and who knows what else!

Writing ADD #18

You know, migraines are evil, and they keep preventing me from blogging and writing! *sigh* Oh well. We've got me trying a new treatment (I'll try and blog about it tomorrow) so hopefully life (and writing!) will get better!

In the last few weeks I've done a smattering of writing. 7 book reviews. A "Letter Home" from Illia to her Mum. And I started a new story! I don't have a title for it yet, but it's coming along well. It's about a young, abused girl, who will be saved (I haven't figured out how yet) by a water spirit. I'll let you guys know when it's done!

Writing ADD #17

I know - it's been two weeks since I posted one of these, but considering I didn't write much either week, I figured it would be ok to combine two weeks into one report!

So week before last:
Total
Book Reviews: 4
Total Words: 1139

Yah - nothing exciting there eh? Oh well - it was something :)

Last week:
Total
Book Reviews: 2
Letter's Home 2 - completed & posted.
The Stranger - In progress
Total Words: 1404

Ooo - do you see that loveliness? There is writing that's not simply a book review! Woohoo!

Letter's Home 2 is the much overdue second letter home from my D&D character, Illia, to her Mum. The sad part is that when I finally got a chance to finish it up I realized I only had about a paragraph left to finish it! Oopsie >_>

The Stranger is also a story about Illia. This one isn't connected to the actual D&D story, it's just something that I came up with this weekend. I still need to do a lot more work on it, but it's off to quite the respectable start! And the best part? I wrote it on the plane on the way home from AZ, but didn't have any writing paper, so I wrote it on a napkin and two barf bags :P

Well that's it for now - hopefully I'll get a bunch written this week!

Writing ADD #16

I've decided I really need to start jazzing up my Writing ADD reports with some photos. Make things more interesting ya know? So today's report is brought to you by....the sun! Woohoo! "I'm walking on sunshine..."

I didn't get too much writing done this week. 4 book reports, 1468 words. I'm happy I got that much done though! It was a busy/sick week. Not a good combo for writing. My big accomplishment in writing for the week is that I broke 30,000 words for the year! Yippee!

This week looks to be really busy too. I have some commissions and projects I need to work on. Trying to get my booth in shape for the Saturday Markets. Helping my hubby look for a job. Lots to do! So who knows what this week is going to look like writing wise. Sometimes busy means no writing. Other times it means I'm in "hyper productivity mode" and I get lots of writing done as well! We'll see which one this week turns out to be :P

Writing ADD #15 and a Look at April

This weeks Writing update is pretty dull again - I wrote 3 book reports last week and that's it. In my defense though, I ended up going in for unexpected oral surgery! I don't really remember what ate the rest of the week though. Oh well, I'm getting a decent start to this week. I'm coming out of my drug/pain induced fog and I have tons of book reviews to catch up on :) I did a LOT of reading this last weekend!

I didn't get very much published this last month either - but my brother's twins being born is a good excuse! If I had a more portable laptop (mine got baptized and I have to use a plug in keyboard - not very transportable) I might have gotten more done this month, but that's ok. I don't mind!
Personal:

Writing:

Book Review

Movie Review

Now I need to go review some more books so I can return them to the library. And I REALLY need to post on here more frequently! You don't even want to know how many months behind I am on posting reviews versus what I'm reading right now!

Writing ADD #14

Last week was pretty slim pickings writing-wise. I wrote about the best laid plans...which we all know often go awry! Despite the being ill and other insanity during my week I did manage to get two book reports and a total of 685 words written though :) And I spent time thinking about writing, which can be almost as an important of a step as actually writing! Right? Ah well - this week seems to be starting out better so I'm hoping for more writing to be accomplished this week! After all - the words are practically bursting to be let out.

Aria's Quest - Questions from Eddie

Section 4
Searching for Molly
Part 7
Questions from Eddie

Aria continued to look around the room, soaking it all in, while Robyn explained the situation to Eddie. Technology was still very strange to Aria. Gina had explained computers too her, but what Gina and Darryl used was vastly different from the set up in this room. Robyn could have told her that was because their computer was older and rather basic, but she didn’t think to ask him. She was so busy looking around that she jumped into the air with a little flutter when Eddie turned and addressed her.

“What specific information can you give me? I need any names, addresses, things like that so I can track her easier.” Eddie said, fingers poised to type.

Aria started listing the information she knew. Joey had given her everything he could think of. She was a little skeptical that Eddie was going to be able to find out any more than Joey had, but she trusted Robyn, so she was trying to trust that Eddie would succeed.

As Aria read off the information Eddie’s fingers flew over the keyboard. She probably wouldn’t have believed he was even listening to her if he hadn’t occasionally asked her to clarify how a piece of information was relevant. Finally she ran out of information, and she just hovered over his shoulder, watching as he performed visual gymnastics with the computer screen.

Finally Eddie grunted, pressed one final key, and reached over to the machine that had just begun spewing out paper. “Ok, the last address you had wasn’t the last registered address for her. I was able to trace her through two more moves. Both addresses are on here so you can ask for information. The last job I was able to trace her too was working as a bar tender at ‘Velocity.’ It looks like she hasn’t been there in awhile though. She might have moved from there to something less legal. Try checking in with Anna to see if she can help you follow up on that lead. Oh, and I found a picture of her on Velocity’s web site.” He showed them a piece of paper with a picture of a young woman behind a bar. Her hair was pulled up into a messy knot on top of her head, dark, with bright purple streaks running through it. She had multiple piercings in her ears, and her wrists were covered in bracelets and her fingers in rings.

Aria was stunned. This was a very different picture of Molly than the one that Joey had showed her. Molly had always had a flair for the dramatic, but this seemed even more than that. The other thing that struck her was that Molly’s eyes looked so very sad.

Eddie helped them fold the pieces of paper up into tiny squares that Robyn was able to fit in his pack and the two of them took off again. Apparently Robyn knew who Anna was, and they headed out to the Nexus to talk to her.

Writing ADD #13

This is the best week I've had in writing all year long! Yippee!!! I wrote a total of 4,290 words this week, and my previous record for this year was 3,220. (Yes, I keep track of these things). I also broke 20,000 words this week! A land mark week all around :D Here's the summary:
Book Reports: 3
Letter's Home 2: In progress
My Dance with Words: Completed
Aria's Quest: 1 section
Geocaching 101: Completed
Movie Review: 1
The Artists: in progress
Total Words: 4290

Book Reports - didn't write as many as usual this week. Partially because my stack of books is getting lower so I don't feel the same urgency and partially because I had so many other writing things on my mind!

Letter's Home 2 - I'm about half way done with this letter. I was waiting to see if anything more happened in that "day's" worth of game play, and it did! Wait till you hear about our party :)

My Dance with Words - I actually wrote this about 3 months ago but never completed it. I keep a "Works in Progress" sheet in Word (although I keep a lot of other info in there as well) and I was perusing it one morning after I'd written my book review when nothing was jumping out at me to write. I realized I'd never finalized this - so I did that and it's been posted to my blog.

Aria's Quest - I have this week's segment written up - I just need to edit it and post it (tomorrow hopefully)

Geocaching 101 - I wrote this for my "Adventuring Elf Sisters" blog. I've only posted the first part though. More to come in the next few days!

Movie Review - I tend to post movie reviews as soon as I write them (instead of being behind like I am with books. I really enjoyed this movie - so writing the review was a lot of fun too!

The Artists - I sat down late one evening planning on writing the opening sketch before I went to sleep so I'd be ABLE to sleep. Two pages later... I'm not sure where I'm going with this story yet, but I'm having a lot of fun with just the beginning! I haven't gotten to work on it since that first evening, but I've been worrying ideas like pebbles over and over in my mind :)

*phew* And if you haven't understood before - now you know why I call this Writing Add! I tend to have a lot of ideas, and on a good week, I may end up writing about a LOT of different things! Just like on a good week I end up doing a bunch of different crafts :)
