Lost in a Migraine
Pain.
Brilliant. Blinding.
Consuming.
Huddled in a tight ball.
Praying for it to end.
Whimpering.
Gasping for breath.
Pounding in my temples.
Searing through my brain.
Vision distorted.
Lying down, yet dizzy.
Lost and afraid.
Weak and ashamed.
Needy.
Pain.
Pain.
